I brought my motorsport connections, racetrack knowledge, and professional production skills together to film this episode of ‘We Are Here,’ a six-part series showcasing Black excellence in underrepresented sports. This episode features Deacon Greenfield, a young and upcoming racer in the Sports Car Club of America grassroots motorsports. The series highlights the presence and contributions of Black individuals in sports and activities where they are often underrepresented, from cycling to camping, golfing, race cars, and powerlifting. These compelling stories reveal communities fostering inclusivity and promoting healthy lifestyles within the Black community.

Washington DC Region SCCA Time Trials Social Promo
As the head of the Time Trials program for the Washington DC Region SCCA, I’m responsible for marketing and recruitment. To boost social awareness, I created a quick social video for the program’s new Instagram and Facebook pages, aiming to capitalize on the growing follower base. The 2024 season has been the most popular to date, breaking numerous participation records across 11 events. This level of engagement hasn’t been seen since 2020, making it the most successful season since the program’s inception in 2008.
The students of Columbia Heights Education Campus in Washington DC visited Appian for a job shadow day. This gave the opportunity for the marking department to provide the experience of video production while also creating a video from the day itself.

It had been over 3 years since the the last update to the campus recruiting teams advertising and lead generation content. Initial this was a project that was to feature 4 people and create one main video. This was then expanded to 6 people. Each person had their own feature with social media content created for posting on linked in, Instagram and Tik-Tok. All the interviews were shot in 1 day.

This project involved aligning on key features to highlight, utilizing screen recordings and stock imagery to create a cohesive and engaging video.
